The Midland Regional Network vision was reviewed and refreshed in 2011 by the Midland regional stakeholders forums.  The Midland region is particularly indebted to He Tipuana Nga Kakano (regional consumer advisory group) and Generating Action for Family Whanau for the impetus and direction they provided in the review of the Midland vision.

The Midland Team farewelled Ruth Choudharey on Friday 16th March over a quiet team lunch.  I know that the region joins me in thanking Ruth for all of her hard work over the last year and half.  Ruth was a champion for workforce development and provided strong leadership across the region.  Ruth's energy will be greatly missed within the team.

We will be advertising for Ruth's replacement shortly.
