The last national meeting of the PRIMHD Coordinators was held in Wellington at the Platform office on the 13th of June. Midland PRIMHD coordinators have appreciated the support of this group over the past two years. Furthermore we wish all the PRCs all the best for the future as they move on to other projects/positions.

 

PRIMHD User Group and Coordinators Meeting

On the 13th and 14th of October Phillipa Gaines (Platform) and the MoH National Roll Out Team (NROT) organised a  training workshop in the Web Based Portal System including a discussion forum for PRIMHD Coordinators appointed to the four regional DHB regions. The attendees were representatives from the regions DHB Planning & Funding division, members of the NROT and PRIMHD Coordinators. As a result  regular fortnightly teleconferences with a 3 monthly face to face meeting was established to ensure that PRIMHD Coordinators are relaying the same key messages to NGOs.

Ministry of Health PRIMHD website

National PRIMHD NGO User Group

The National PRIMHD NGO User Group held its inaugral meeting in Wellington held on the 31st of August hosted by Platform. The meeting brought together NGO regional PRIMHD coordinators, representatives from NGOs, Ministry of Health and regional shared servcies.

Ministry of Health Programme for the Integration of Mental Health Data (PRIMHD)

PRIMHD is a national project that will link the MHINC (Mental Health Information National Collection) and MHSMART databases together so that services are reporting only 1 set of data monthly. The implementation for PRIMHD will be across the DHB provider arm and NGO sector with Step 1 being implemented from 1 July 2008.
